Archbishop Mutafian Urges Turkish Authorities to Lift Visa Restrictions with Armenia

YEREVAN, Nov. 24 (ArmenPress) - The Turkish foreign ministry has prepared a special program to counterattack Armenian activities aimed at international recognition of the 1915 genocide committed by the Turkish government.

According to it, an Armenian-Turkish conference of historians is to be convened to discuss the issue and try to find ways to regulate it

The Turkish authorities also plan to improve the conditions of Armenians residing in Turkey, as they supported Ankara's efforts in opposing genocide recognition.
